This is an original FLENSTED MOBILE. Mobiles are a traditional craft in Denmark, but the modern mobile was created in 1954 by Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe. Their first design, the Stork mobile, was a great success, and now flies all over the world.

By O Flensted Mobile's are my current obsession. They look so amazing suspeded in air and they have so many clever designes. Don't be fooled - they dont come ready to hang on a crib and such, but they hang easily from a tack in the ceiling. This one keeps my son quite entertained.
